Today was the second set of fitness tests. At this early stage the tests are not complicated, just really simple tests to guage improvement on overall fitness since the implementation of the strength and conditioning sessions 6 weeks ago. After these tests Nico will up the intensity of the S&C programme. The tests taken today were:
1. Bleep test
2. sit up test – Maximum number completed in 30 seconds
3. press up test – Maximum number completed in 30 seconds
4. Jumping – double footed jump, left leg only, right leg only, vertical jump.
When Nico gives me back the results I will try and post them so you can see if the Judoka managed to improve since the first set of results.
